We got our save the dates finished! Thanks to the creative groomsman, Joey Bisagno! You're absolutely wonderful. I posted the second one just to show the idea I had, and how awesome Joey was at re-creating it.

flower girl basket :)

I made the first of four flower girl baskets today! DIY tip: paper flowers are waayyyy cheaper than fake ones.

It took me a while, but I spent only $25 on all the materials for 4 flower girls baskets to opt out of spending $40 per for the ones I liked. But, i used some inspiration from Etsy.com and my own style and theme for the wedding and am very happy with how it turned out!! :)

I got cute little $3 baskets, attached a peacock feather, painted the wooden heart, and hand-made and painted the paper flowers. I can't wait to see the girls hold them!

THE cake topper

I made the cake topper last night! What we would have spent 200 on, I made them myself and spent 30 bucks. The pic on the left is the original, and the one on the right is my creation. :)
